Back from Vacation

Happy Saturday, everyone.  I am back from vacation and crafting like crazy to try to catch up.  Several projects that I need to get out in the mail by Monday for Mother's Day and my grandson's first communion.  Almost done with those and then need to start on Graduation and Father's Day.  The month of May Layout a Day starts tomorrow so I am really going to be challenged to fit a lot into each day.

Our camping season will be starting with our first trip to Lake Placid, NY in about 2 weeks.  Can't wait to get going again.  Hope our weather starts cooperating soon.  Since we are retired, we do travel with the camper a lot.  Will be going at least once a month for a week or more at a time right through the middle of October.  It is amazing to me that we are able to do this much.  Of course, it will cut into my crafting time somewhat, but I do bring some things with me.

Well, enough for now and I will be posting some photos in the next couple of days.

Easter Greetings

To all my fabulous and crafty friends, HAPPY EASTER!!  Hope you all have a fabulous day with family and friends.  We are in North Carolina with our Daughters, Son-in-Laws and our grandkids.  Fun, fun, fun.  We just do not get to see them often enough and the kids just grow up to fast.

Versatile Blogger Award

Just wanted to thank Robin at the Cricut Scrapper for this award.  I know that I need to pick 15 bloggers to pass it on to and am not quite sure how to do that and also post 7 things about me.  I have never done this before, so I guess I need some help on how to do it.  I am on vacation right now and with family and grandkids and not much time to post.  Will try to get it completed next week when I get back home.

Welcome Back Winter

Hi all my friends and followers.  Hope you all are having a great day.  I just finished a few hops and now, I guess, I'll be MIA for a little while.  Got to start packing and getting ready for a trip to the sunny South for Easter with family.  (At least, I am so hoping that it will be warm and sunny.)  We are expecting snow here tonight.  Can you believe that on April 17th?  Could be worse.  There is such awful weather everywhere.

I'm bringing laptop with me but, I think the grandchildren will keep me busy enough that I won't be using it too much.

Getting Something Done--at last

I have been very busy since I last posted.  Trying to get my Easter/Spring projects done.  Almost there and I will share some photos.  We are going to North Carolina for Easter and I need to ship things to the grandkids (do not think that I can fit everything in my carry on luggage).  We seem to be feeling a little bit more like Spring here now and it seems good.

Finished our livingroom makeover and got the new valances finished and hung up this week.  Now, I am going through a lot of my knitting materials and craft books that I no longer use and going to try to sell some of them on Craigs List.  If they don't sell, they will be donated.  Don't even want to think about having a garage sale.  That is too much like work.
