Easter Projects Completed

As I promised, here are the rest of my projects for the Easter holiday.  Had to get done early because I have to ship everything out of town and we are going on our first camping trip of the season a week from tomorrow.

Image from Mo's Digital Pencil

Easter Basket Stamp from Penny Black Slapsticks Stamps

Swallowtail Butterfly Lever Card from SVG Cuts

All Designs and Subway Art from Cutting Cafe

The first card used papers from KaiserCraft Gypsy Sisters collect and, of course, the image from Mo's Digital Pencil was colored with copics.

Next, I used a card from the Silhouette America Store.  I resized it and then I used papers from the Authentique Journey collection.  Used my copics again for the coloring.

On the next card, I used papers from several different My Mind's Eye Lost & Found collections--Market Street, Madison Avenue and Breeze.  Love those little 6x6 pads.  It is such fun to make some of the cards from SVG Cuts.  I particularly love the Edisto Island collection.

For the last card in this group, I used all files from The Cutting Cafe and just separated them with Gimp software and saved as individual JPEG files.  Then I was able to make them the size that I wanted and to add and offset so they would cut with the Cameo.  Also used the print and cut feature on the Cameo which I really love.

Easter Baskets for the Grandkids

I am so embarrassed about these baskets.  I saw this basket idea on one of the blogs that I follow and, now that I want to post the photo, I cannot find whose blog it was.  So sorry.  I actually took an egg shape from one of my Cutting Cafe files and resized it and then traced it.  Had to do a lot of erasing and cutting and drawing to get what I wanted and here it is.  Papers are all Coordinations and I also used a lot of the Cutting Cafe files for the images on the baskets.  All labels and candy bar wrappers are a Free Printable from Angela at Anything But Perfect.  She has such awesome designs and freebies.  Love them.

And now, I have just one more card (not Easter related).

Birthday Card for Son
This is a birthday card for our Son who will be turning 45 on April 16th.  He is a Command Chief in the Navy and out to sea so this had to be mailed very early.  Used all papers from Echo Park Lost & Found collection and some coordinations for the base and layers.  The design is one of Jen's Deconstructed Sketches #43.

Now that is it for this long post.  Next post will be after our trip to Delaware Seashore State Park and the first of many trips to complete our Bucket List.

Happy day to all and happy crafting.

March Challenge for Papertrey Ink--Aqua and Yellow

I have finally finished all of my Easter projects.  One just happens to meet the criteria for the March Papertrey Ink Challenge of Sunshine--use aqua and yellow.

Easter Card for our Granddaughter Emily
I really think this card is just so special.  I used an image from Mo's Digital Pencil and colored it with Copics.  Funny story--until I put the card together, I was thinking this was an Easter bunny!!  The more I looked at it, I realized that it is a little dog with bunny ears.  Still so darned sweet.  Love Mo's images.

I used all papers from Anna Griffin and did all my cuts with my Cameo.  So love that cutting machine and design capabilities.  The design is actually from Sketch Support.  I have taken a lot of sketches and designed them out in my Design Studio software so that I have them handy when I need to make a card.

I will be posting the rest of my Easter projects next.  Happy Sunday, everyone.

Happy St. Paddy's Day

Well, I have been having a very busy time creating my promised St. Patrick's Day projects.  Wish I could say that the card designs are my own, but, I am not that creative and use inspiration from the blogs that I follow.  To the best of my ability, I will give credit where credit is due.  The banner that I made is my own design.  It was very hard to photograph, so, does not show up as well as I would like.

Everything was designed in my Silhouette Software and all cuts were made with my Cameo.  I am so very thrilled with this machine.  Don't know how I could ever get along without it and the Silhouette Store.  This WILL be coming with us when we start our RV trips this Spring--cannot be soon enough for me.

Subway Art from Peonies & Poppyseeds

Thanks to Jodi Collins & YNS Sketch for February

My Own Design and all cuts from Silhouette Store

The images on the cards are all digital, except for the Little Girl that is Erin from Ireland from Your Next Stamp.  My digis were all uploaded to the Cameo and offset so that they could be cut out on the Cameo.  (Print & Cut feature used.)  Love it.

I took my first trip last week to Stampin and Scrappin which is a local store about an hour and a half away from me.  Kathy had some of the most beautiful papers and helped me to select all of the papers that I used.  Lots from BasicGrey and BoBunny and some lovely 8.5 x 11 papers that I do not know the vendor of.  Kathy is wonderful and the service was fabulous.  So much nicer than the big box stores.

I colored all my images with my Copic Markers and just had so much fun making these cards.

I will now start on my Easter cards and have decided to use card sketches from sketchsupport.com and design all else on my own.  I put the sketches into my Cameo library and then can just pick the one that I want to use.  Let's get those creative juices flowing.

Time to go now and start on Easter.  Happy crafting to all.

Stella Says Sketch #105

This is my entry for the Bugaboo Stamps challenge blog -- Stella Says Sketch #105.  This came at a perfect time.  I needed a card for a friend's 60th birthday and got this image before I even knew about the challenge.

SSS #105 Challenge
Bugaboo Image Stella Over the Hill
Papers--Unknown maker by all from Stamp N Scrap
xPress It Blending Card and Copic Markers
Buttons--Acrylic from Stash
Ribbon--unknown

I designed the layout on my Silhouette Cameo and all cuts were made with the Cameo.  This just makes making a card so much easier.  Hope you love it as much as I do.
